For the past 26 years, Lisa Cook and Leslie Williams of Affair with Flair, Englewood, have been the brains behind some of Denver’s most fabulous soirees. “We’ve been around so long that people just refer to us as the L and L Connection, jokes the Colorado natives.”
The two pros pretty much have done everything event-wise. “We don’t really have a specialty”, says Cook. “We do it all”.
One of L and L’s more unusual recent assignments was a knock-their-socks-off ground-breaking ceremony for Larkridge, a new mixed-use retail center north of Denver. The party venue: a construction site filled with weeds, mud and other challenges.
“The client wanted something different from the usual ground breaking ceremony”, says Cook, “and they wanted to make sure that by the end of the party, everyone there remembered the name and logo”.
